Chaoticon Attendee FAQ
General Info
Q: What are the dates and times for Chaoticon?
A: Chaoticon will be held September 13–14, 2025 in LaPorte, Indiana. Doors open at 10:30 AM for VIP and 11AM for General Admission each day.
Q: Where is Chaoticon located?
A: Chaoticon takes place at the Dunes Event Center, 110 Clear Lake Blvd, Laporte, IN - only 1.5 hr East of Chicago! Parking lots available at no fee.
Q: Is there re-entry if I leave the venue?
A: Yes, you may re-enter with your badge/wristband for the same day.
Tickets & Admission
Q: Where can I buy tickets?
A: Tickets are available online at ChaoticEmpire.shop and at the door (if not sold out).
Q: Do kids need a ticket?
A: Children under 10 get in free with a paid adult; however we do require kids to have a ticket for entry. Free kids tickets are available for "purchase" online and on site.
Q: What’s the difference between General Admission, 2-Day, and VIP tickets?

General Admission: Entry for one day (Saturday or Sunday).

2-Day Pass: Entry for both days.

VIP: Includes early entry, exclusive perks, and reserved seating at select events.
Q: Can I upgrade my ticket?
A: Yes, upgrades are available while supplies last. Visit the registration desk.
Accessibility & Policies
Q: Is the event ADA accessible?
A: Yes, the venue is fully accessible. Please contact us if you need special accommodations.
Q: Are service animals allowed?
A: Service animals are welcome. Pets, however, are not permitted.
Q: Is outside food or drink allowed?
A: No, but food trucks and vendors will be on-site. Exceptions are made for medical needs and baby food.
Q: Can I bring a bag?
A: Yes, but all bags are subject to search at entry.
Cosplay & Conduct
Q: Is cosplay required?
A: Not at all! Come in costume or everyday clothes—you’ll fit right in either way.
Q: What is the cosplay weapons policy?
A: All props must be peace-bonded at security check-in. No real or functioning weapons are allowed.
Q: What does “Cosplay is not Consent” mean?
A: Always ask before taking photos or touching costumes. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
Celebrities, Panels & Photo Ops
Q: How do photo ops and autographs work?
A: Photo ops and autographs require separate tickets, which can be purchased at FandomImprints.com or on-site.
Q: Will celebrities sign personal items?
A: Most will, but check each guest’s guidelines. Fees may apply.
Q: Are photos with celebrities included in my ticket?
A: No, photo ops are separate purchases.
Q: How do I know when panels are?
A: Check the full schedule at ChaoticEmpire.Shop > Chaotic 2025, scan the QR code on the back of your badge (if you have one), or find a schedule posted around the venue during the event. Schedules will be visible near the stage area.
Vendors & Activities
Q: What kinds of vendors will be there?
A: We’ll have artists, collectibles, crafts, apparel, comics, games, and more.
Q: Are credit cards accepted?
A: Most vendors accept cards, but bring cash just in case.
Q: What other activities are happening besides panels and photo ops?
A: Expect cosplay contests, scavenger hunts, interactive experiences, and more!
Safety & Security
Q: What happens if I lose my badge/wristband?
A: Unfortunately, lost badges/wristbands cannot be replaced. You will need to purchase a new one.
Q: What items are prohibited?
A: Real weapons, alcohol, drugs, and outside food/drink are not permitted. Please ask if you are unsure if an item is prohibited or not.
Q: What if I feel unsafe?
A: Find the nearest staff or security member immediately.
Miscellaneous
Q: Will there be Wi-Fi at the venue?
A: Limited Wi-Fi may be available, but we recommend having your tickets downloaded in advance.
Q: Can I volunteer for Chaoticon?
A: Volunteer applications are now closed for 2025, but follow us for next year’s opportunities.

Information About us
This business was founded by me, Martin Mejia-Ruiz (CEO) in 2023. After a lot of thought and long hours in a factory, I decided to take a chance and make this empire. Being a father and a husband will always be priority number one, so with building this company, I'm hoping to be able to get more family time. I come from a family of hard workers and want to implement that into everything I do. The name is a combination of two things. Chaotic being a part of my social and gaming username for over a decade. Empire came out of the derivative of being built from the ground up with close friends support and that of a very select few family members. Now this is where the logo comes into play. When you have an empire, the ones who ran an empire back in the day were kings and queens. The throne represents what they sit on being on top. The saw blade represents the strong determination, no matter how hard this journey gets. Also it is a representation of we are coming to the top and we are ready to come cutting our way through the obstacles. The color scheme is just something I've personally always liked. Our logo was designed by Matt Frank at Northwest Graphic Design. We plan to dominate the anime market in our region in North Western Indiana.
